Hello! My name is Shiloh Ferreira. I am looking forward to another great year at Mill Valley Middle!
This will be my eleventh year of teaching math. I have been teaching the middle of middle school for the past eight years at MVMS. It is my deepest hope that my students build up their confidence and interest in math throughout the school year. Learning new things requires bravery and I want be a support for all those that have the heart to try. I am from central Ohio, but grew up in Tehachapi (a small mountain town in Southern California). I moved to Hayward to attend college at CSU East Bay. I have since lived in Modesto and San Rafael, but currently reside in Novato. I enjoy television and movies, gardening, hiking, and spending time with my family. I have two daughters. My eldest just started kindergarten and the youngest was born last summer. I will always root for the Pittsburgh Steelers (it's in my blood). I have had many pets in my life (fish, mice, rats, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, dogs, and cats). Currently I have one cat named Noey. |
